Alumnae of Chem-UGM are widely accepted to work at national institutions such as national universities and governmental department, as well as private/international institutions such as private universities, Pertamina Balongan, Kaltim Prima Coal Co., Sari Husada Inc., etc. Chem-UGM keeps maintain strong linkage with its alumnae. Among them is the distribution of the questionnaire to obtain alumnae’s feedback on the facts in job-world and job-market as well as assistance to establishing job placement. In order to enhance the participation of graduates in the global market, Chem-UGM also sends its students for an internship (or praktek kerja lapangan, PKL) in an industry. The student participation in the community is to improve the relationship among academic, job markets and stakeholders.
